Previously only available for the Flame Tracker Dry (325), our water-cooled Flame Tracker model is now available with Increased Low Gain – or ILG.
The ILG sensor provides extra sensitivity to low intensity light. It provides the “flame on” signal at a lower light threshold, detecting dim flames caused by obstructions, condensation, or deposits on the sensor window.
This increased sensitivity allows for improved function in applications with obstructed sight tubes, fouled lenses (dirtier fuels), and other conditions which would reduce the amount of light reaching the sensor.
ILG technology is now more accessible to our customers than ever before – with the same fast response time of less than 0.025 seconds.
The Flame Tracker ILG is now available in North America and Europe, with remaining regions to follow in approximately four weeks.

With a hot-end tolerance of up to 325 °C and separated electronics, this rugged design reduces maintenance and boosts reliability even in the most extreme environments.
Fast, Reliable Flame Detection
Powered by high-performance Silicon Carbide (SiC) photodiode sensors, the Flame Tracker offers high sensitivity to UV light while remaining unaffected by blackbody radiation. It responds in under 0.175 seconds up to 10x faster than conventional sensors ensuring rapid detection and immediate safety response
Wide Fuel Compatibility & Safe Output
Designed to handle multiple fuel types including hydrogen and low-NOx blends with or without steam, the Flame Tracker ensures consistent performance across varied combustion scenarios. It outputs a standard 4–20 mA signal using low-voltage operation for simplified integration and enhanced safety.
