Flexitallic US LLC today announced the acquisition of the Sealing Corporation based in North Hollywood, California. The privately-owned Sealing Corporation is best known for its unique Selco Seal gasket design and exceptional customer service. Sealing Corp. is also known for specialty ring gaskets, multi-class gaskets, “Self Locator” gasket, and many other customized sealing solutions.

“This acquisition is a perfect fit with our product portfolio and customer profile,” said Jerry Lastovica, president and CEO of Flexitallic US, LLC, “Flexitallic has always focused on innovative gasket designs and unique problem-solving solutions. The Selco Seal gasket falls right in line with that concept.” Flexitallic will rebrand the Selco Seal gasket as the Flex-HX and look to further target the heat exchanger market where the Sealing Corporation has demonstrated great success.

As part of the acquisition, all manufacturing activities will be moved to Deer Park, TX, and the Geismar, LA manufacturing facilities. According to Flexitallic, they will gain production efficiencies through this relocation and more access to resources and logistics that will best suit the product line. Additionally, Sealing Corp. customers will now have access to Flexitallic’s highly acclaimed engineering support; well known throughout the industrial sealing industry.
